This 1947 classic film starring John Wayne, which was also the first one he produced as well as starring in. Wanyes character Quint Evans is a notorious shooter and womaniser, who ends up collapsing at the home of a family of Quakers. Evans attracts the attention of the families sheltered daughter, and tries to settle down to her pacifist ways, but his old past keeps haunting him.
